Andjety

In the Pyramid texts the king's power is associated with Andjety.

King Sneferu of the 4th dynasty, builder of the first true pyramid, is shown wearing the crown of Andjety.

The crook and flail were originally symbols of the minor agricultural deity Andjety, and passed to Osiris later.

The symbolism of the flail is more uncertain with shepherds whip, fly-whisk, or association with the god Andjety of the ninth nome of Lower Egypt proposed.
