Debt service next year will be $45.1 million, she said.
Total debt service is expected to rise from $856 million this year to $1.6 billion in 2008.
As for the capital budget, about 20 percent, or $263 million, is going to debt service alone.
"The debt service is now somewhere on the order of $450 to $500 million a year."
At current rates, the entire $805 million budget would be needed in 2006 for debt service.
"That is just more money we'll have to spend on debt service."
The state would pay the debt service on the bonds.
The team would cover the debt service on those bonds.
And yet, Miller doesn't believe in debt service to anyone.
