In the event that a pedigree registration certificate is lost or destroyed, upon a written request by the registered owner and payment of the prescribed fee, a duplicate certificate marked "duplicate copy" shall be issued.

Both the transferor and transferee shall be responsible for confirming that the identification of the goat being transferred is in accordance with the details on the pedigree registration certificate prior to delivery or consignment to the transferee.
