posterior gray column

The other columns are the lateral gray column and the posterior gray column.

Posterior gray column is one of three central gray columns on each side of the spinal cord.

It is found in the thoracic segments of the spinal cord between the anterior gray column and the posterior gray column.

The axons enter the spinal cord from the posterior(dorsal) root ganglion and terminate on unknown second-order neurons in the posterior grey column.
