As of 2013, 37 station groups (including the London group) are known to exist.
"No station group is going to fund it," he said.
That company closed on the station group on March 14, 2008.
The network did not have significant market share until the mid-1990s, when News Corp. bought more station groups.
His duties were to develop innovative, low-cost shows for the station group.
With that, the company was able to complete its purchase of the station group on March 14, 2008.

It is now one of the country's largest nonnetwork-owned television station groups, with 26 stations.
Those two station groups carry shows that attract significant minority audiences.
