The original station was then re-opened as a halt on 24 July 1931.

In 2008 the station was re-opened for regular use.

However outside of the summer the station suffered from low patronage, meaning it was closed on 1 December 1952 and never re-opened.

The station is a terminus on the railway and was re-opened in 1981.
