"At one point I had made up my mind to stay in school," he said.

So you tell the kids to stay in school, that a good education is the most important thing.

They would also have to stay in school or receive job training.

"We want to really make a point to the kids that they need to stay in school," he said.

"My goal is to stay in school and continue right on to college."

Even those who stay in school sometimes bring their children to class.

"What do they want more - for me to have a job and money, or stay in school?"

The law requires students under 18 to stay in school if they want to drive.

I stayed in school for the first two years of the war.

"At least I still have a place to sleep and can stay in school," he said.
